Hunger Mountain, Middlesex Trail A pleasant, very leisurely hike to the top of Mt. Hunger from the Middlesex (rt 12) side. Once again, a scheduled hike on a day that looked like rain. Heck, it was raining here and there early on. So you decided to stay home after all. You chickened out. You know who you are! Don't expect sympathy from Mary S. & Ed L. We had fun in the sun! Trust the trip leader, right?

The trail was wet and slippery in spots, but traction on the over 90% of the rock surfaces was good. OK, this trail may a bit more than moderately difficult in spots.

The sun disappeared as the clouds wrapped the summit just in time for our arrival.

It was getting chilly as we headed down, but there were some good late fall images.

I think maybe it rained later, but I was home by then.
