 Cross-country Ski Stowe Mountain Resort (originally Edson Hill Ski Touring Center)

The only person who showed up for this event was brave Judy Cotnoir of Johnson who met us at Stowe Mountain Resort. We had moved the location to Stowe after learning that the trails at Edson Hill were 'marginal.' The recently groomed trails at Stowe Mountain Resort were passable: hard and fast; the ungroomed trails were not useable. The crazy weather of the last ten days, with snow, rain, sleet, ice pellets, and strong wind, had changed Vermont from a winter wonderland to a place where you had to ski with caution. Judy and the two of us skied some of the more traveled trails -- and had a good time.
