Sunday May 29, 1994 Mt Hunger via the Worcester Trail Leader: Nancy Schulz Thanks to George Richardson's expert guidance, we were led up the Worcester Trail to the summit of Mt. Hunger without encountering any problems. Along the way, we encountered plenty of moose droppings and black flies. Welcome breezes at the top allowed us to enjoy a leisurely lunch free from biting insects. On the return, we retraced out footsteps, walking back through mud and trail debris that was often thick. A special treat was provided by George, who offered a detour through his camp. We enjoyed the waterfall but especially the bull moose that George spotted at his camp. He'll add this to his collection of 20+ antlers. So despite the wet footing, black flies and overgrowth, the twelve of us enjoyed a super hike in splendid weather.
