Camel’s Hump. From Duxbury, forest service trail. Pack lunch
Leader: Howard Bloom

Dear Doris.
As Harlan has already told you, we had a fine trip to Camel’s Hump on Saturday. The following were among those making the trip:
Clarence Amadon
David Amadon
Eddie (?) Amadon, David’s brother
Jos. Wilson
Harlan Farnsworth
Howard Bloom
Jim and Mary Fearon
Frances and Henry Hall accompanied us for about 2/3’s of the way.
We had a fine hike in perfect weather, although we ran into deep snow for the last half mile or so to the summit. On the way back the Fearon dog had a brush with a porcupine, but fortunately for the dog, she over-ran the “porky” and escaped with only a few quills in her stomach fur.
Hope to see you on a hike soon.
Regards,
Howard Bloom
