Fall Schedule
September 29-30 Sterling Lodge – Madonna Peak. Leaders: Harlan Farnsworth (Friday)(Work party) and Frances Holmes (Saturday)
October 8 Spruce Mountain – Afternoon fall-foliage walk. Leader: Doc Bryant.
October 21 Taylor Lodge. Leader: Dave Otis.
November 4 Prospect Rock – Rainy day. Leader: Pat Clayton. Another contingent hiked from Beaver Meadow up Whiteface and over to French Camp and met first contingent.
November 26 Community Cookout at Ricker Pond.
Winter Schedule
January 7 Hancock Brook hike cancelled because of weather.
January 20 Taylor Lodge – Oyster Stew with Burlington section.
February 10 Owl’s Head in Groton Forest – snow shoe and ski – cold day – cocoa on top.
February 11 Mt. Moosilauke – cancelled – weather
February 16 Moonlight walk in Hubbard Park on snowshoes – no moonlight – cocoa, popcorn and slides at Farnsworths afterwards.
March 3 Mt. Hunger ?
March 17 Stew Party at Glen Ellen Lodge. Burlington section joined us.
March 20 Moonlight walk to Jerusalem near Plainfield – snowshoes – cocoa and cake at Schweikers after.
April 1 Knox Mt. ?
April 7 Annual meeting at Vermont College. Approx 25 attended. Buffet supper. Business meeting. Voted to pay $40.00 to main club for trail expenses. New officers elected: Wayne Cliff, President; Marion Gorham, Secretary-Treasurer. Program speaker: Roy Buchanan
