Saturday October 12 2019 Work Hike Smugglers Notch by Alan Paschell

Some blazing was accomplished just north of the old trail junction. Work today mainly focused on adding stones to the stones steps (approx. .3 miles from the trailhead north.)
and brushing in to discourage a side track created next to the steps. On the lower Barnes Camp Trail, we cut
a drainage ditch and placed a large stone in a wet spot, hopefully effectively drying out that area, and also brushed in to direct hikers onto the trail.
