Saturday February 08 2020 Snowshoe hike-Spruce Mt., Plainfield VT by Dana Lawrence

Four hardy trip leaders and section members, including our current

section president Steve Bailey, trekked uphill through15 inches of new snow recently packed by some early bird trail snowshoe runners. The temperature was brisk in the single digits, the trees glistened with mounds of new snow and the sky sparkled blue above us. A couple of early sign-ups developed conflicts, but those who came enjoyed a perfect day of winter snowshoeing.
