Sat Feb 25 2023 Hardwood Flats Ski with otters by Steve and Heather Bailey
Five intrepid skiers braved the single digit temperatures at Hardwood Flats in Elmore. We started out on the groomed trails, and then took a side trip, breaking a fresh trail to Little Pond, where we have often seen otters. We were not disappointed this time, as we saw many tracks, and even an otter scampering across the snow. With the cold temperatures, the snow was in perfect condition, and we had a good time.
