Schedule Planning Meeting 1/27/65

Present: Dave Otis, Dave Morse, Dave Hine, Juelia Desilets, Jerry Dix, Marion Gorham, Dick Babcock, Doris Washburn.
Al Eldred, Howard Bloom, and Frances Holmes were unable to attend.

Schedule was planned through May 8. Trips that did not get into the present schedule include a hike on the Long Trail from Bolton to Smugglers’ Notch recommended by Al Eldred for next fall and Jonesville to Puffer Lodge recommended by Dave Otis for a future trip. Also discussed was a canoe trip but it was decided to leave that one alone. Although three of our members have canoes we are not experienced enough for white water.

Meeting was held at Dave Otis’s.

It was decided to contact somebody about use of Montpelier Center Community Hall for Annual Meeting with a catered meal. Juelia called June [ blank ] who said she thought they could put on a meal for $1.25 (adults) and $.75 (children)

Also Dick Babcock will contact somebody at National Life about a film to be nshown at Annual Meeting and Jerry Dix recommended a song fest. We will see about having a mimeographed song sheet.
