Sat May 24 2025 Irish Hill wildflower walk with Bob Popp by Steve Bailey, Bob Popp

Nineteen people showed up on a drizzly morning for a wildflower walk with Bob Popp, the Vermont State Botanist for 33 years (now retired). We found all sorts of flowers. There were lots of jack-in-the-pulpits in bloom. We also found “foam flowers”, golden alexanders, violets, water avens, chervil (an invasive which we pulled up), false solomon’s seal and dogwood, to name just a few.
