Saturday October 20 2018 Bamforth Ridge Trail by Alan Paschell

Dana and Nancy hiked to the shelter and secured the water supply as well as creating drainage on the shelter spur trail and removing several blowdowns. The shelter is in good shape. Andrew walked the Winooski River section from the trailhead to the bridge, removing encroaching blackberry, rose, and foliage that were causing sight line issues. The remainder of the work crew took down several blowdowns and cleared drainage from the trailhead to the “window”. The general condition of the trail from the trailhead the the shelter is good. There are no other outstanding issues to be addressed at this time.
