Cross-country Ski - Craftsbury
It was a fine day for cross-country skiing. Perfect snow conditions with mild temperatures. Eight participants ate their lunch at the warming hut and then completed Ruthie's Run. We had three skiers that are beginning skiers and they were delighted in the rolling terrain without steep hills. After completing Ruthie's Run of 8.4k, everyone had enough skiing except for two people who chose to do the Bailey Hazen of 3.7k. The Bailey Hazen has a long winding down hill that given you a good run especially on a perfect skiing day. Everyone enjoyed the outing.
