YAC Hike to Moss Glen Falls, Stowe
YAC's trip to Moss Glen Falls fell on a beautiful summer morning with temps in the 70s, blue skies, and big puffy white clouds. We saw lots of dragonflies flitting about the wetlands by the parking lot and listened for water rushing along the stream. We met an Israeli family walking in to the falls and then climbed up to the top of the falls to peer carefully into the passage that the stream has carved into the rock. After walking down, we took our shoes off and splashed in the cold water along the stream's bank and skipped stones across the pools.
