Snowshoe Spruce Mountain
It was a cold and blustery day, but ten of us came out to hike Spruce Mountain. It had snowed 6-8 inches the night before and the trail had not been broken. It was a joy to need the snowshoes! At the top, different thermometers had readings of 0 degrees, 5 degrees, and 15 degrees. We didn't know which was correct, but we knew it was cold and not a day to linger. A good outing, and hopefully the start of more winter outings with snow!
